Readings
A reading counts against your allowance only when it completes. Reopening a saved reading is free, and failed or cancelled readings don’t count.
Using suggestions
Readings can misread a conversation. Review anything before you send it. What you send is up to you.
Plans and billing
Free includes 5 readings a day, resetting at midnight UTC. Subtext Plus is $5.99 a month or $39 a year and includes unlimited readings and automatic help in the chats you choose.
Unlimited is subject to fair use: up to 200 readings a day, and up to 30 of those may include photos (after that, photos are skipped and the reading uses text only). These limits exist to prevent automated abuse and are far above normal use.
Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, which handles checkout, invoices and sales tax. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Local prices may be shown at checkout.
Lifetime (founding members)
Lifetime is a one-time $79 purchase, offered to the first 200 buyers only. It includes everything in Plus, under the same fair-use limits, for as long as Subtext is operated. It is not transferable. Lifetime does not guarantee the service will run indefinitely.
Cancelling
Cancel a subscription anytime from your account. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds
If Subtext isn’t working for you, email support@getsubtext.chat within 14 days of a charge and we’ll refund it in full.
